Local:
Humber Valley Paving Ltd.'s main office is located in Watson's Pond Industrial Park, on the outskirts of the City of Corner Brook. Our main equipment yard, storage sheds, and garage are also situated at this site.
On the opposite side of the city is Bakers Brook quarry, which is our primary facility for servicing Corner Brook and the surrounding area. A 5000 lb. batch plant is located there, and several different types of aggregate products are routinely stockpiled. All of these products are available for sale to private customers, as well as for our own use. This quarry is one of two operations situated within the city limits.
Provincial:
Our other asphalt plants move about any number of pits and quarries across the western region of the island and produce primarily for provincial and federal highway contracts.
While Humber Valley Paving Ltd. specializes in manufacturing and intstalling hot mix asphaltic concrete, the company is also very active in crushing, road building, equipment rentals, and general contracting.
To support these quarrying and contracting operations, we maintain and operate our own fleet of trucks and equipment, which is in excess of 100 units. Humber Valley Paving Ltd. also retains an experienced and skilled body of employees from the Corner Brook area and from across the province.
